Figure and Form, 1998-2000

This group of mostly oil pastels focuses on the beauty of form, whether figurative, or simply in a single line. Oil pastels are a great medium for gentle curves and figure work. I developed a variety of techniques for applying the pastel in these works, some of which come out later in the oil and acrylic works of 2001.
